HERRCO (Hellenic Recovery Recycling Corporation) joins Liquid Media in celebrating Mother’s Day with a fun-filled event for children and families at Rizari Park. As part of the Athens Municipality Festival, the event will take place on Sunday, May 11, bringing together creativity, play, and environmental awareness in a day dedicated to moms.
From 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, families are invited to enjoy a variety of engaging and interactive activities. Children will have the chance to express their love for their mothers, take part in original games, and create lasting memories—all free of charge.
True to its mission of promoting sustainability and raising public awareness about packaging recycling, HERRCO adds a meaningful touch to the day’s celebrations. Through hands-on experiences, the event aims to educate and inspire both young and old on the importance of recycling and the role each of us can play in protecting the environment.
One of the event’s highlights will be the Recycling Fun Park, a special area by HERRCO where kids can learn about recyclable materials through fun and educational activities. Children will meet the friendly mascot of the Blue Bin, take part in creative workshops, and leave with memorable gifts—all while becoming familiar with how to recycle properly using Blue Bins and Bells.
HERRCO’s presence at the event is part of its ongoing commitment to engage with the public—starting with children—and make packaging recycling a simple and essential everyday habit. On this special day, Rizari Park becomes a joyful meeting place for families across the city.
