The aim of this project is to promote the recycling of packaging waste from non-municipal waste, namely Industrial and Commercial Packaging Waste (ICPW). Attention has been focused on packaging made from the following materials:

As regards this action, the prospective partners of HE.R.R.Co are enterprises engaged in the collection, trade or processing (recycling) of packaging waste. An essential prerequisite is that any party interested should have obtained a licence for its activities, in accordance with the existing legal framework. Upon signing the related Cooperation Agreement, HE.R.R.Co provides funding for the amounts of packaging waste which is collected and recycled by the Partners in a certified way according to the tables that follow:
The outcomes from the beginning of the project up until present demonstrate an increasing growth of packaging amounts in respect of all materials.
Nowadays, recycling is an indicator of a country’s sound environmental policy. Hence citizens’ involvement is vital. By way of simple and practical methods, as well as by way of effective planning, recycling and packaging waste management could and should become part of our everyday lives.
